VelocityOne FlightDeck

PC pilots who want an all-in-one HOTAS appliance with a modern HUD/touchscreen feel instead of a modular boutique setup.

~$400 approx MSRP; sale pricing often changes

Turtle Beach's PC-only all-in-one HOTAS with a touchscreen/HUD fantasy, a large input count, and a very different vibe from Thrustmaster's SOL-R line. It is not an Xbox product despite the VelocityOne family name. The pitch is clean: one stick, one throttle, lots of mappable controls, modern lighting, and software-driven customization. The catch is that it remains a PC cockpit appliance rather than a space-native HOSAS, so Star Citizen dogfighters still need to decide whether a throttle is the right off-hand control.

Buy with caveats

Worth buying for the right builder, but read the warnings before it lands in your cart.

Known caution: PC-only, not the Xbox VelocityOne option

Common questions

Does VelocityOne FlightDeck work on Xbox?
No. The FlightDeck HOTAS is PC-only; the VelocityOne Flightstick is the Xbox-compatible product in the family.
Should Star Citizen pilots buy FlightDeck or HOSAS?
FlightDeck can work well if you prefer HOTAS, but HOSAS is the more natural layout for six-degree Star Citizen combat.
