Sim-Lab

Sim-Lab is a Dutch sim-racing company founded in 2015 in Tholen, Netherlands, that built its name on rigid aluminum-profile (8020-style) cockpits, the same industrial extrusion you'd find in factory automation, and has since grown into a fuller ecosystem of seats, wheels, pedals and brackets. The honest take: Sim-Lab is a buy-once foundation for serious rigs. Its P1-X Pro, a 2024 redesign of the popular P1-X, is among the most rigid and adjustable rigs on the market, comfortably carrying any flagship direct-drive base, 21Nm and beyond, with no perceptible flex at the wheel mount. That stability and endless adjustability mean you keep the frame across every base and pedal upgrade, which is the whole point of going aluminum profile over a steel-tube cockpit. The trade-offs are real and expected: it's a configurable frame system, so the seat and many brackets are priced separately; it takes meaningful floor space and assembly time; and it's overkill for a low-torque entry base. For high-torque DD and long-term ownership, it's one of the most-recommended high-end rigs you can buy.
